Job Description

The Operating Room (OR) Nurse is responsible for providing specialized nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes in line with medical standards and hospital protocols. This role plays a critical part in supporting surgical teams through proper preparation, sterile techniques, and continuous patient monitoring, while assisting in procedures and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the operating room and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready.
  • Assist surgeons during procedures. (Circulating and/or scrub role)
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after surgery.
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient records.
  • Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Provide post-operative care and support patient recovery.
  • Handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently.

Requirements

  • Lebanese Nationality
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • 2–5 years of experience as an OPD Nurse.
  • DataFlow verification completed or in process.
  • Prometric exam passed or willing to take it.
  • Experience in a hospital or medical center setting.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
