The Care Companion is responsible for providing compassionate support and companionship to clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being in line with care standards and individual needs. This role plays an important part in enhancing the client’s quality of life through emotional support, assistance with daily activities, and maintaining a positive and respectful environment, while ensuring professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to care protocols and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Support daily mobility and rehabilitation programs
Conduct strength, balance, and posture training
Coordinate with healthcare professionals
Monitor progress and maintain rehabilitation records
Promote long-term healthy movement habits and overall wellbeing
Accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social activities.
Ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment at all times.
Support clients in maintaining routines and promoting independence whenever possible.
Requirements
Degree in Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation Sciences, Sports Rehabilitation, or a related field
Experience working with older adults
Background in mobility training, balance training, and rehabilitation exercises
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and supportive personality.
Ability to handle responsibilities with professionalism and confidentiality.
Willingness to work in a live-in position.
Willingness to travel when required
