Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will assess clients’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence in daily activities, participation, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess motor, sensory, cognitive, and daily living skills.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on each client’s needs and goals.
  • Deliver therapy to improve coordination, self-care, and participation in everyday activities.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications where appropriate.
  • Guide families and caregivers on strategies to support progress outside therapy sessions.
  • Monitor outcomes, adjust interventions, and maintain accurate clinical records.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide coordinated care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Valid DOH, DHA, or MOH.
  • Currently based in the UAE.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills.
