Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the execution of sheet piling and shoring works in Dammam, KSA.

The successful candidate will manage site activities, teams, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, within budget, and according to approved designs, quality standards, and project schedules. Candidates must currently be available in Saudi Arabia and willing to join as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily construction activities for sheet piling, shoring, and associated excavation support works.
  • Develop execution plans and coordinate work sequences, site logistics, manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure works comply with approved drawings, method statements, inspection plans, and project specifications.
  • Supervise site engineers, supervisors, operators, and subcontractors to achieve production targets.
  • Coordinate with geotechnical, structural, and temporary works engineers to resolve technical issues and confirm design requirements.
  • Oversee sheet pile installation and extraction, ensuring alignment, installation tolerances, and quality requirements are met.
  • Coordinate excavation stages, dewatering, and the installation of anchors, struts, or other support elements where applicable.
  • Ensure required inspections, monitoring, and approvals are completed before progressing through excavation and support stages.
  • Enforce safety procedures for deep excavations, lifting operations, piling equipment, and work near existing structures or utilities.
  • Monitor progress, productivity, costs, and equipment utilization, implementing corrective actions when required.
  • Coordinate with procurement and plant teams to maintain the availability of materials, specialist equipment, and spare parts.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and project management on progress, constraints, and technical matters.
  • Maintain site records and oversee progress reporting, quality documentation, and handover activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant construction experience, including at least 7 years as a Construction Manager on sheet piling and shoring projects.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of sheet piling and shoring methods, equipment, and execution requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage specialist site teams, subcontractors, and construction resources.
  • Ability to interpret geotechnical reports, construction drawings, and approved temporary works designs.
  • Strong understanding of excavation safety, ground movement monitoring, and protection of adjacent structures and utilities.
  • Experience managing schedules, productivity, quality, and site costs.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Currently available in Saudi Arabia.
  • Willing to join as soon as possible.
