We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Pastry Chef to join the culinary team of a prestigious 5-star hotel in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will bring innovation, leadership, and a deep understanding of luxury pastry and dessert creation, with a strong background in hotel pre-openings and international culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the pastry department, overseeing daily operations, team performance, and product quality
Design and implement creative, high-end dessert menus aligned with the hotel’s luxury positioning
Supervise and train a team of pastry chefs, bakers, and assistants to maintain consistent quality and presentation
Manage inventory, costing, and supplier coordination to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations
Collaborate with Executive Chef and F&B team for menu planning, event catering, and seasonal promotions
Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards across the pastry kitchen
Participate in hotel pre-opening activities, including kitchen setup, team recruitment, and SOP development
Requirements
Currently working as an Executive Pastry Chef in a luxury or 5-star hospitality environment
Proven experience in hotel pre-openings
Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
Creativity and attention to detail in designing high-quality, visually stunning desserts
Excellent knowledge of international pastry techniques, trends, and plating
Fluency in English is essential
Preference will be given to candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia
