Job Description

The Corporate Quality Manager will lead the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the company’s quality management system across construction projects and corporate functions. The role will oversee QA/QC activities, maintain alignment with ISO 9001, and ensure consistent compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement corporate quality policies, procedures, and objectives across all projects.
  • Oversee the quality management system and ensure alignment with ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Lead and support project QA/QC teams to maintain consistent quality practices.
  • Review project quality plans, inspection and test plans, and quality documentation.
  • Plan and oversee internal audits and coordinate external and client audits.
  • Monitor nonconformities, lead root-cause analysis, and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
  • Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quality performance against project requirements.
  • Track quality performance indicators and report findings and improvement priorities to senior management.
  • Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Promote continual improvement through training, lessons learned, and preventive measures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong experience in quality assurance, quality control, and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of quality audits, corrective actions, and continual improvement.
  • Ability to lead quality teams and coordinate quality activities across multiple projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, planning, and people-management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
