The Prosthodontist is responsible for diagnosing and managing complex dental and oral rehabilitation cases, with a focus on restoring function, aesthetics, and patient comfort through advanced prosthodontic treatments. The role includes developing personalized treatment plans and delivering procedures such as crowns, bridges, dentures, veneers, and implant-supported restorations, while ensuring high standards of clinical care, patient safety, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage complex restorative and prosthodontic dental cases.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
Perform crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, and implant-supported restorations.
Restore oral function, aesthetics, and patient comfort using appropriate prosthetic solutions.
Coordinate treatment plans with dentists, oral surgeons, orthodontists, and other specialists.
Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, aftercare, and oral hygiene.
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
Ensure all procedures comply with Kuwait healthcare regulations, infection-control standards, and medical center policies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (BDS/DDS or equivalent).
Postgraduate qualification in Prosthodontics.
Proven clinical experience in prosthodontic and restorative dental procedures.
Experience with crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, and implant-supported restorations.
Valid Kuwait MOH license or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong patient communication and treatment-planning skills.
Good command of both Arabic and English.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary dental team.
