The Interface Technical Manager will be responsible for coordinating mechanical interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities on a major industrial wastewater treatment project. The role ensures effective collaboration between multidisciplinary teams, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and the client to resolve interface issues, minimize project risks, and support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate mechanical interfaces between engineering disciplines, contractors, suppliers, and the client.
Review drawings and technical documents to identify and resolve interface issues.
Ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with civil, electrical, instrumentation, and process works.
Lead interface coordination meetings and monitor issue resolution.
Support engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
Identify technical risks and recommend practical solutions.
Prepare interface reports and maintain project documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
12–15+ years of EPC construction experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in wastewater treatment, water treatment, desalination, or industrial utility projects.
Proven experience managing mechanical interfaces on multidisciplinary EPC projects.
Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment mechanical systems.
Excellent coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Experience with NWC, SWPC, SWCC, or similar authorities is an advantage.
