The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow management, compliance, and accounting activities while providing strategic financial insights to support organizational growth and profitability. He will work closely with senior management to drive financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain effective financial controls across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the company's finance and accounting functions.
Prepare and oversee annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and financial reporting standards.
Develop and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and risk management procedures.
Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Support project feasibility studies, investment evaluations, and business expansion initiatives.
Collaborate with operational departments to monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including managerial responsibilities.
Mandatory experience within the Real Estate or Construction industry.
Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Proven experience managing finance teams and implementing financial controls.
Solid understanding of taxation, auditing, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in ERP systems and financial management software.
Strong Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
Willingness to relocate to Accra, Ghana.
