Job Description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the Engineering & Maintenance Department, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all hotel facilities and technical systems. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, team leadership, cost control, and maintaining the highest operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the Engineering & Maintenance Department.
  • Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop the maintenance team.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and optimize resources.
  • Coordinate maintenance projects, repairs, and contractor activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hotel operational standards
  • Maintain maintenance records and respond to technical emergencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Maintenance Manager or similar role, preferably in hospitality.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in French is a MUST.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, and building maintenance systems.
  • Proven experience in cost control, preventive maintenance, and team leadership.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in international hotels or resorts is an advantage.
