The MEP Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of MEP and utilities infrastructure projects in accordance with project timelines, quality standards, safety protocols, and budget constraints. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing), and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full project lifecycle of MEP and utilities infrastructure works, from mobilization to handover.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans in coordination with planning and cost control teams.
Ensure timely completion of project milestones in accordance with contractual obligations.
Oversee the execution of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and low current systems.
Coordinate with design and technical teams to resolve design discrepancies or changes.
Review and approve method statements, ITPs, and technical submittals.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, PMCs, and subcontractors regarding MEP project matters.
Attend regular site meetings, progress reviews, and coordination workshops.
Address and resolve site issues or technical conflicts in collaboration with technical and site teams.
Supervise and direct site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure high-performance execution.
Monitor labor productivity and material consumption to align with project targets.
Support in the selection and management of subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with Saudi codes, Aramco/SABIC/NEOM standards (if applicable), and international best practices.
Implement and enforce quality control and health & safety procedures across all project activities.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to QA/QC and HSE policies.
Prepare and submit project progress reports, cost updates, and risk assessments to management and clients.
Ensure accurate documentation of variations, delays, and claims in coordination with the commercial team.
Coordinate and manage all actions required for acquiring new projects, including RFQ responses and bid documentation.
Take initiative and responsibility for any company-related or project-related tasks as needed to support business objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 10–15 years in MEP construction, with at least 5 years as a Project Manager.
Strong understanding of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, electrical, ELV, and utilities infrastructure systems.
Proven ability to manage complex MEP projects independently from start to finish.
Familiar with Saudi building codes, Aramco/SABIC standards, and international MEP standards.
MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), ERP systems, and MS Office.
Proficient in English; Arabic is an advantage.
PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
